Specforge Other paths
For senior implementation architects · Contributor track

Years of fit/gap calls. None of it has your name on it.

The patterns are in your head. The decks are on someone else's SharePoint. The IP belongs to four big consultancies. Specforge is the senior-architect-vetted enterprise-platform requirements library (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Workday, ServiceNow, Salesforce) — peer-reviewed by architects at your level, and owned by the contributors who build it.

What you get

Equity in the platform

Cap-table units that vest as your contributions are accepted and reused. Your name stays on what you build. Customers and peers see who wrote each pattern.

What you'll do

Codify what you already know

Add requirements, fit/gap patterns, and workshop artefacts in your wheelhouse. R2R, OTC, P2P, treasury, tax, MDM — whatever you've earned the hard way. Reuse and refine over time.

What the bar is

Peer-reviewed by architects at your level

Every contribution is reviewed by 2-3 architects in the same workstream. Not a content farm. Not pay-to-publish. The bar is set by the network, not by us.

How the equity works

Three steps. Same rules for everyone.

  1. 01

    Contribute

Submit a requirement, pattern, or artefact through the contributor workbench. Choose your workstream and the platform/system version it applies to (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, Dynamics, Workday, etc.). You stay attached to it — your handle is the byline.

  2. 02

    Peer review

Two or three architects in your workstream review your submission. Accepted contributions go live in the library. Rejected ones come back with notes so you can re-submit. No hidden gatekeepers; you can see who reviewed.

  3. 03

    Vest

Accepted contributions vest cap-table units on a defined schedule. Reuse by paying customers compounds your stake further. Promotion through the ladder (C1 → C6 → architect tier) raises your unit weight.

Plain language, not legal language. The exact unit structure, vesting schedule, and dilution mechanics are laid out in the contributor agreement, which we send when your application is accepted. Have your own lawyer review before you sign. We're happy to answer specifics in the FAQ below.

Frequently asked

What people ask before they sign.

What stage are you at — is this real equity or aspirational equity?

It's contractual. The shape is defined and the agreement is signed before your first contribution lands. We're pre-public-launch, so the cap table is unusually contributor-friendly right now compared to later cycles.

What does a 'good' contribution look like?

A requirement with a clear fit/gap call (standard out-of-the-box / partially standard / custom), industry context, and reasoning. A workshop artefact that another architect could lift and reuse in their own engagement. A counter-pattern that's saved you twice. We have examples on the platform once you're in.

How long does the application + review take?

Application takes about five minutes. An admin reviews within a few business days. If accepted you're onboarded at C1 and can start contributing immediately. Promotion to C2 and beyond happens through reviewed contributions, not seniority claims.

Will my employer have a problem with this?

If you're under an SI's standard non-compete or IP-assignment, you should run this past your employer before you contribute work derived from billable projects. The platform is structured for ambient pattern-knowledge (the kind already in your head across multiple clients), not for client-specific IP.

Who decides what's reusable, what's unique, what's a duplicate?

Peer reviewers in your workstream, using a uniqueness rationale that you write and they critique. Disputed calls go to a higher tier. The dedup logic is in the platform — you'll see similar existing requirements before you submit, not after.

Apply

Five minutes. One reviewer. Then you're in.

Pick the workstreams + ERP systems you've actually shipped on. An admin reviews and emails you back. All contributors start at C1 and climb the ladder through reviewed contributions.
