Common questions.
Do I need to be a GBC member to play?
No. The Open is run as an open tournament. Members get a discounted first-event entry, but visitors are welcome.
What's the format?
Round-robin groups on Saturday seed into single-elimination knockouts on Sunday. Group matches are best-of-one to 21; knockouts are best-of-three to 21.
Can I partner with someone outside the club?
Yes. Doubles partners do not need to be from the same club. Both names and skill levels go on the entry form.
What happens if my bracket doesn't fill?
If a bracket has fewer than six entries 48 hours before play, we'll merge it into the nearest level and refund the difference.
Is parking and food on-site?
Free lot parking. Saturday lunch is included; Sunday concessions run from a local vendor in the lobby.
